FAQs
How do I get to Bristol Beacon?
Bristol Beacon is right in the city centre on Trenchard Street. If you're coming by train, Bristol Temple Meads is about a 15-minute walk or a quick taxi/Uber. Lots of buses stop nearby too — the M1 and M2 Metrobus routes are handy.
Is there parking nearby?
The Beacon doesn't have its own car park, but Trenchard Street Multi-Storey is almost on the doorstep and very affordable. The Cabot Circus and Rupert Street car parks are also a short walk away.
How long is the show, and is it suitable for very young children?
Bluey's Big Play runs around 55–60 minutes with no interval — perfect for little ones' attention spans! It's recommended for ages 2 and up. Every child (including babes-in-arms) needs their own ticket.
Are there good places to eat nearby before or after the show?
Loads! Cabot Circus is a short walk for a quick bite. For something nicer, Wapping Wharf down by the harbour is brilliant — the kids will love it. Stef's Tacos and Cargo are firm local favourites.
What time should we arrive?
Doors usually open 45 minutes before the performance. Arrive with time to spare — there'll be a merch stand and the kids will want to take it all in. Don't leave it to the last minute with little ones in tow!
Is the venue accessible?
Yes — Bristol Beacon is fully accessible with step-free access, hearing loops, and accessible seating. Contact the box office in advance to arrange anything specific.
