South Western Railway runs direct trains from London Waterloo to Twickenham station — roughly 30 minutes. On match days there are dedicated rugby specials with more frequent services. The stadium is a 10-minute walk from the station. The District line to Richmond, then a 15-minute walk along the river, is a scenic alternative. Avoid driving — parking is extremely limited and traffic around Twickenham on match days is heavy.
Gates typically open 90 minutes before kick-off. For the New Zealand game on 21 November (expected 3pm KO), that means gates at around 1:30pm. Check your ticket and the RFU website for confirmed kick-off times as they can shift closer to the date.
The Cabbage Patch on London Road is the most famous rugby pub in England — heaving before big games, brilliant atmosphere. The William Webb Ellis nearby is another solid option. If you want to avoid the crowds, The Eel Pie on Church Street in Twickenham is great. For something more central before you travel down, many fans meet at Waterloo station pubs like The Mad Hatter or Hole in the Wall.
Very limited official parking — book via the RFU website well in advance. Coach and park schemes operate from nearby car parks. The strong advice from most regulars is to take the train. Uber and taxi queues after the final whistle can be very long on big days.
The South Stand (lower) is the most vocal end for England fans and generates the best atmosphere. The North Stand lower tier is excellent for sightlines. The East and West Stand lower tiers give great side-on views of the full pitch. Upper tiers are higher and windier in November but have great elevated views.
No formal dress code for general admission — the white England jersey is practically the uniform. Wrap up warm for November evening games; Twickenham can be cold and exposed in autumn. Hospitality packages (Rose Lounge, Club Level) are smart casual — no replica shirts required but plenty of people wear them anyway.
