FAQs

How do I get to Latitude Festival?

The easiest train route is London Liverpool Street to Halesworth (Greater Anglia, about 2 hours), then a short taxi or festival shuttle to Henham Park. Darsham station is slightly closer and some years has a dedicated shuttle — check the official Latitude site nearer the time. Driving: there's onsite parking available (book in advance), postcode IP19 9AB. Many people also come on festival coaches from London and other cities.

Is there a campsite, and what are the options?

Yes — Latitude has loads of camping options. General camping is included with weekend tickets (you just need to add it). There's also Boutique Camping (pre-pitched bell tents), Tipi Village for something really special, and dedicated Accessible Camping. If you're buying a ticket here, double-check whether camping is included or needs to be added separately.

What's the vibe like — is it family-friendly?

Latitude is one of the most relaxed, genuinely mixed festivals in the UK. You'll find families, couples, and groups of mates all happily coexisting. There's a dedicated Kids Area, the lake is beautiful for swimming, and the Comedy and Literature stages mean there's tonnes beyond just music. It's not Glastonbury rowdy — it's more like a long, sunny weekend with great culture.

What stages are there beyond the main headliners?

The main Obelisk Arena hosts the big names, but there's also the BBC Music Introducing Stage, the iArena (comedy and spoken word), the Literary Stage, a Theatre area, the Lake Stage (perfect at sunset), and various woodland stages that come alive at night. Wandering between stages is half the fun.

Can I transfer a Latitude ticket to someone else?

Latitude uses a name-on-ticket system managed through See Tickets. Transfers are possible but you need to go through the official process. When buying a ticket here, make sure the seller has not already used the ticket for entry and that you have enough time to complete the name transfer before the event.

What should I bring / is there a dress code?

No dress code — wear whatever you like! Suffolk in July can be glorious sunshine or surprise rain, so pack layers, a waterproof and good wellies just in case. Sunscreen is essential. Lots of people dress up on Saturday night for the headline. Reusable cups are encouraged — Latitude has strong eco credentials.
