Manchester Victoria station is right next door — trains and Metrolink tram from across Greater Manchester. It's a 10-minute walk from Piccadilly Gardens too. Honestly the easiest big venue in Manchester to get to.
Is there parking nearby?
There are several NCP car parks within a short walk — the NCP on Great Ducie Street and the Arndale car parks are popular. Expect them to fill up fast on match nights so get there early or just take the train — Victoria station is literally attached to the arena.
What's the best pub before the game?
The Marble Arch on Rochdale Road is a classic pre-match pint spot. The City Arms and Sinclairs Oyster Bar in the Northern Quarter are also brilliant. Most Storm fans gather around the Victoria/Shudehill area — just follow the blue and red shirts!
Is this a good event for first-timers or families?
Absolutely — EIHL ice hockey is one of the best live sport experiences in the UK and Storm are brilliant with families. The pace is electric, the atmosphere is loud but friendly, and the family sections in the upper bowl are great value. Kids go absolutely mad for it.

Is it cold inside the arena?
Yes! There's a full-size ice rink in there so it's noticeably chilly, especially rinkside. Bring a layer even if it's warm outside — you'll be glad you did. Halloween night in late October? You'll want that hoodie.
