How do I get to Barrowland Ballroom?
The Barras is right on Gallowgate in the East End. Nearest train stations are Argyle Street or High Street on the Argyle Line — about a 10-minute walk. Glasgow Queen Street is around 15 minutes on foot. Plenty of folk just get a taxi or Uber into the East End — easy enough on a Thursday or Friday night.
Is there parking nearby?
Driving into the East End on a gig night is a bit of a nightmare, honestly. There's street parking around Gallowgate but it fills fast. You're much better off getting the train in or grabbing a taxi — saves the stress and you can have a proper drink.
Where's good for a pre-gig pint?
The Barrowland Bar next door is the classic — cold Tennent's, proper Glasgow pub atmosphere. The Saracen Head (the Sarry Heid) on Gallowgate is a legendary old boozer worth a visit. If you want something a bit more chilled beforehand, Mono on King Street or Nice N Sleazy on Sauchiehall Street are solid choices before you head east.

Barrowland is general admission standing — that's the whole point. Get there early if you want to be near the front. Capacity is 1,900 so it'll be rammed and loud. Wear something you don't mind getting sweaty in.
What time do doors open?
Doors are typically 7pm at Barrowland, with support acts on from around 7:30–8pm and Primal Scream expected on stage around 9pm. Check the official venue listing closer to the date for confirmed times.
