Oran Mor sits right at the top of Byres Road on Great Western Road in Glasgow's West End — you can't miss it, it's a converted church with a beautiful exterior. Easiest options: Hillhead Subway station is about a 5-minute walk, or Partick station (train + subway interchange) is about 10 minutes on foot. Plenty of buses along Great Western Road too.
Is there parking nearby?
Street parking on surrounding residential streets (check signs carefully — permit zones apply). The Byres Road area is busy on Friday evenings so we'd strongly recommend the Subway or bus. There's a car park on Byres Road itself but it fills up fast.
What are the best pubs nearby before the show?
You're in luck — the West End is brilliant for pre-show drinks. Oran Mor has its own bar inside which is atmospheric and worth a visit. Nearby: Brel on Ashton Lane (Belgian beers, lovely courtyard), The Sparkle Horse on Great Western Road, or grab a glass of wine at any of the Ashton Lane spots just two minutes' walk away.
