FAQs

How do I get to Regent's Park?

Easiest is Regent's Park tube on the Bakerloo line — about a 5-minute walk to the Broadwalk entrance. Baker Street is slightly further but served by five lines including the Jubilee, so great if you're coming from further afield. Uber drops are easy on the Chester Road side of the park too.

Is there parking nearby?

Honestly, the park itself has no event parking, and nearby streets are mostly residents-only. Our strong advice: take the tube or bus. If you must drive, the NCP on Upper Montagu Street is the closest paid option, but it's a 15-minute walk and pricey. Save yourself the stress and get the Bakerloo line.

What's the difference between General Admission and Premium?

General Admission (from £20) gets you into the festival grounds — you can eat, drink, browse the producers' market and soak up the atmosphere. Premium Session tickets (£35–£40) often come with a welcome drink, priority entry and sometimes early access to pop-up restaurants before queues build. Evening sessions on Friday and Saturday are the buzzy ones — worth the upgrade if you want that summer party feel.

Do I need to bring cash?

No cash needed — Taste of London runs on 'Crowns', their on-site currency. You load them onto a wristband or app at the festival. Restaurants price dishes in Crowns (roughly £1 = 1 Crown). Top up as you go, and any unspent Crowns are refundable after the event.

What should I wear?

It's an outdoor summer festival in a park, so smart casual is the vibe. Evening sessions tend to be a bit more dressed up — think summer dress or open-collar shirt rather than jeans and trainers. Definitely wear comfortable shoes; the Broadwalk is partly on grass. And bring a light layer — London evenings in June can surprise you.

Are there any good pubs nearby before the festival?

The Honest Sausage in Regent's Park itself is a lovely pre-event spot if you arrive early. Just outside the park, The Prince Albert on Parkway in Camden is a great traditional boozer. For something smarter, try The Landmark Hotel's Winter Garden on Marylebone Road — perfect for a pre-festival cocktail.
